With over 25 years of experience in technology covering a large breadth of industries, Jason Wilcox consistently demonstrates innovation and leadership. Most recently Jason was the Head of Technology for Jerry, a VC backed fintech out of silicon valley, where he was responsible for architecting the technology and team behind their auto finance product as well leading the IT, Information Security, and Governance, Risk, & Compliance initiatives. Prior to that Jason served as CTO at RefiJet, a prominent auto-refinance company where he built a multi-national technology team and orchestrated the development of an industry leading refinance and loan origination system. He holds an undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Physiological Sciences from Marquette University and master's degrees in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, Strategic Intelligence from American University, and an MBA from Quantic University.
Riz Malik is the Head of Product for GOAT.tax software where he is responsible for leading the product vision, development, and roadmap along with assisting clients with onboarding and support. He has over ten years of direct R&D tax credit experience in various industries, including software development, engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, architecture, and video game development. He has helped clients and CPA partners identify and understand R&D opportunities, maximize R&D credit benefits, and document to support the credits claimed. Riz is passionate about utilizing technology to bring automation to manual processes to eliminate inefficiencies and improve business operations. Riz holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Clark University.
Alex Pak is the Head of Customer Success at GOAT.tax, where he focuses on client satisfaction, product adoption, and effective customer onboarding. He brings over 13 years of specialized experience in R&D tax credits across multiple industries such as cloud platform development, fintech, and engineering. Prior to joining GOAT.tax, Alex was a Director at a corporate tax consulting firm, where he built several verticals by leveraging his expertise in software development and engineering. In his current role, he utilizes data-driven insights to optimize the customer experience and is responsible for training new hires on both sales and production teams. Alex holds dual BA degrees in English and Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine. Leila Rayburn currently oversees marketing content, strategies and initiatives for GOAT.tax. Her experience includes 8 years in the financial services industry and 15+ years in B2B marketing specializing in content and lead generation strategies and execution. She is also a seasoned corporate trainer. Leila received her Bachelors of Arts degree from University California, Los Angeles.
Keith Barreras has over seven years of experience in sales, working with a wide range of clients from small businesses to large enterprises. Before joining GOAT.tax, Keith worked in various roles across the tech industry, including software and hardware sales, as well as leadership positions. Tony is serving as Director of Strategic Partnerships at GOAT.tax. He has more than 20 years’ experience working with CPAs and companies in helping them understand and benefit from specialized tax incentives. Tony served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and was part of the first Gulf War in 1991
Jordan Fazio is a Senior Director of R&D Tax Credits at GOAT.tax. His primary responsibilities include providing consulting to CPAs and taxpayers looking for guidance on R&D tax credits and managing R&D tax credit projects. His experience prior to GOAT.tax includes eight years of market risk management, software development, and operations in OTC derivative markets. Jordan holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Grand Valley State University.
Rachel joined Source Advisors in July 2018 as a Senior Director of R&D Tax Credit Services overseeing general operations, quality, and tax controversy services. She has over 20 years of R&D Tax Credit experience working across a variety of industries with clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Source Advisors Tax, Rachel held a Managing Director role at a boutique R&D tax credit firm for 10 years. She has extensive experience with exam advocacy and appeals representation. Rachel graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Accounting and a minor in Management Info Systems. Rachel is a CPA.
